Syth formed in 1999 and were a formidable name on the Scottish gig circuit with their unique blend of traditional heavy metal and blistering solos, which were largely unpopular during the days of metalcore and emo. The band recorded two albums before calling it a day but reformed in 2016 to record one last album with unreleased songs as a fitting closure to the twenty year journey.
